General Manager Dan Schultze knows a lot about tenacity and hard work. He started with Packnet in 1989 working in production and moved into sales shortly afterward. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 1998, General Manager in 2004 and has worked closely with Founder and CEO, Mike Nyberg, to build the company to its highly successful position today.
Schultze is a good fit to work alongside Nyberg in running the company – the two were childhood neighbors and friends since elementary school and share the same philosophy. At Packnet, the customer and value go hand-in-hand. “Success to us is helping our customers improve their businesses. We listen to our customers and respond quickly to their packaging needs. In the end, they benefit from custom, cost-effective packaging solutions.”
Schultze received his B.S. in Business Administration at University of Wisconsin – River Falls.
He is active in various church activities including youth leadership. Schultze also coaches girls softball fastpitch in Prior Lake.
His tenacity and hard work pays off in his personal life, too, as Schultze recently completed his first 5K race and competed in a “Biggest Loser” competition.
A Minnesota-grown outdoor enthusiast, Schultze recently caught a 20 lb. king salmon in Lake Michigan. And, if he’s not catching fish, he can be found golfing, running or camping with his wife and three daughters.
