General Manager Dan Schultze knows a lot about tenacity and hard work. He started with Packnet in 1989 working in production and moved into sales shortly afterward. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2001, President in 2007 and is the General Manager of Packnet, which was acquired by its new parent company, Universal Forest Products, Inc. (UFP) in late 2014. Although owned by UFP, Packnet retained its name, and leadership with Dan. Dan’s experience and successful track record with Packnet is vital to growing the company in the future.
Dan is thrilled about the long-term vision for the company and his career with Packnet. “It is a rewarding career with a vast amount of variety from simple to complex products, and fun people! I enjoy the challenging aspect of developing creative, custom solutions for customers.”
Dan received his B.S. in Business Administration at University of Wisconsin – River Falls.
He is active in various church activities including youth leadership, as well as a volunteer at the local YMCA.
A Minnesota-grown outdoor enthusiast, Dan is an avid fisherman, having caught a 20 lb. king salmon in Lake Michigan. If he’s not catching fish, he can be found golfing, competing in triathlons, or camping with his wife and three daughters.
