Packnet announces new custom industrial carts
BURNSVILLE, Minn. (December 4, 2007) Packnet Ltd., a manufacturer of custom packaging solutions, wood packaging and a provider of specialty cutting services announces the introduction of its new custom designing and fabrication of industrial carts that meet specific challenges in material transport and storage. Carts can be built for virtually any size or application and are typically very durable and attractive.
“These carts are particularly useful in a lean manufacturing environment, as they can be used in Kan Ban applications and can eliminate many material handling steps in a manufacturing process,” said Dan Schultze of Packnet Ltd. “Materials can be transported from the supplier directly to the shop floor and through the entire manufacturing process if needed.”
These reusable carts can also be used in offices as well as other types of facilities for unique material handling needs that can’t be addressed by standard catalog carts. The custom carts are available in any shape, size or quantity and have a number of materials. Cart components are precisely cut with CNC equipment and can be shipped fully assembled or knocked down.
