Foam Packaging

Packnet designs and manufactures a variety of foam products for many industries and applications. Utilizing DXF files and 3D programs, we’re able to produce a wide range of custom foam solutions. Most foam is die cut, saw cut, flash cut, water jet cut or custom molded to meet virtually any packaging requirement. With the help of our CAD systems, we can design and engineer a custom foam solution that will meet your exact requirements. Whether you are using corrugated plastic, wood, corrugated cartons or hard/soft sided shipping cases, custom designed and fabricated foam assemblies will transform any container into an ideal shipping solution.

Foam-In-Place

Packnet is the region’s largest supplier of foam-in-place packaging. This is a two-component liquid foam (polyurethane) that is formed when the two chemicals are heated and combined. It is used for one of a kind packaging of high value or sensitivity. Foam-in-place is offered in-house as well as customer site with our portal system. Packnet also fabricates pre-molded cushions inhouse for repetitive higher quantity needs. It is available in two different densities: A50W and G-Flex foam. We produce one-of-a-kind custom free hand shots as well as production run vacuum-molded cushions.

Packnet often develops solutions for one-time use applications. Liquid foam-in-place is a practical and robust solution for one-time use, but it is not reusable long-term and does require special equipment and skills to use.

As part of our service to customers, we offer on-site packaging of your fragile products at your facility. We dispatch our mobile packaging technicians directly to your site and pack your products on your dock with our portable equipment to alleviate any hassle or investment in tools on your part.
